SUMMER CAMP REGISTRATION WILL BE OPEN FOR REGISTRATION ON APRIL 25, 2015

THIS YEAR WE HAVE INSTITUTED AN EARLY BIRD SPECIAL PRICING FROM "APRIL 25 THRU MAY 25". SEE THE LINK TO THE LINK "COSTS DATES AND HOURS FOR MORE INFORMATION ON THIS.

PLEASE READ BELOW SINCE THERE HAVE BEEN CHANGES TO THE REGISTRATION PROCESS BEFORE PROCEEDING TO THE "ENROLL NOW" LINK TO THE LEFT.



          

WELCOME TO THE WEST ORANGE COMMUNITY HOUSE AND BOYS & GIRLS CLUB INC.'S 2015 SUMMER CAMP WEBSITE

"PLEASE NOTE THAT THERE ARE SUBSTANTIAL CHANGES TO THE REGISTRATION PROCESS SINCE LAST YEAR" AS REQUIRED BY THE STATE OF NEW JERSEY DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH. THESE CHANGES ARE:

THERE ARE 2 FORMS WHICH MUST BE FILLED OUT AND EITHER EMAILED, MAILED OR FAXED TO US. THE FORMS ARE:

1. PARENTAL AUTHORIZATION FOR EMERGENCY TREATMENT.
2. PICK UP AND CONTACT FORM.

PLEASE DOWNLOAD THESE FORMS FROM THE WEBSITE UNDER THE LINK TO THE LEFT OF THIS PAGE ENTITLED "POLICIES, FORMS AND SPECIAL NEEDS.

IN ADDITION YOU NEED TO EMAIL, FAX OR MAIL US A COPY OF YOUR CHILD'S IMMUNIZATION RECORD.

ALL 3 OF THESE FORMS ARE NEEDED FOR YOUR REGISTRATION TO BE COMPLETE. THEY HAVE TO BE ONSITE AT THE CAMP SITE IN ORDER FOR CHILD TO ATTEND CAMP. 

THERE ARE ALSO POLICIES THAT NEED TO BE REVIEWED WHICH YOU NEED TO KNOW AND ACKNOWLEDGE AS YOU REGISTER ON THE CAPTURE POINT SYSTEM. YOU CAN READ THESE POLICIES ON THE LINK TO THE LEFT ENTITLED "POLICIES FORMS AND SPECIAL NEEDS".

*FOR THOSE OF YOU THAT HAVE REGISTERED FOR THE SUMMER CAMP IN PRIOR YEARS PLEASE NOTE THAT WE HAVE MADE CHANGES TO THE CAMP WEEKS AND THEIR REGISTRATION. THE PRIMARY CHANGE IS THAT YOU CAN NOW SELECT ANY OF THE 8 WEEKS, HOWEVER YOU MUST REGISTER FOR A MINIMUM OF 4 WEEKS FOR YOUR REGISTRATION TO BE VALID.

*FAMILIES MUST BE WEST ORANGE RESIDENTS AS REQUIRED BY WEST ORANGE BOARD OF EDUCATION AS CONDITION TO USE OF PUBLIC SCHOOL BUILDINGS AS CAMP SITE




THE CAMP IS SUPERVISED BY EXPERIENCED STAFF WHO HAVE WORKED IN THIS CAMP MINIMALLY FOR 5 YEARS. THE SUPERVISORS ARE CERTIFIED TEACHERS AND ARE ASSISTED AT EACH SITE BY ADDITIONAL CERTIFIED TEACHERS. SEE CAMP ACTIVITIES UNDER THE LINK TO THE LEFT OF THIS PAGE ENTITLED "ACTIVITIES".









Request for partial to full scholarships should be addressed to our email address at wochbgc@hotmail.com . We generally require a copy of your latest pay-stubs and/or the first 2 pages of your 2013 income tax return. We will follow up by return email. Also understand that you should contact Program for Parents at 973-297-1114 to see if you qualify for a government subsidy before requesting a scholarship from us. That organization provides child care subsidies for low income working families that meet their requirements.  We may not provide scholarships to those families that would meet Program for Parents requirements.

Please note that scholarship requests may not be answered until mid June
